Is this a tubing ferrule? I can play around with it and come up with something.

yep, tubing ferrule, is this on your 04? if it is this process might not be the same as the
03>.

just an fyi, SLP has it for $19.95. 03rado - the 04 will not fit an 03, unless it has the later version waterpump/thermo housing.
