Question Need advice for a Catback for a 2006 Crew Cab 2WD

I'm going to be in the market for a new catback and was wondering what are available out there.

I want one that flows well, sounds good, doesn't have any interior drone, stainless and easy to instalI have a 2006 Silverado Crew Cab Vortec Max 6.0L 2WD

What would you guys recommend? I'm looking to gain maybe 8-10 more HP over stock and have a nice sound.

Corsa will be your best bet. They have a touring and sport, i have a thread of a before and after of my 4.8. Also with no cats. It took 30 minutes to install on the ground and i have had to do nothing after that.

Check ebay for the Corsa...their a top quality system but also the most expensive. A less expensive alternative would be a nice Magnaflow system.

Corsa (touring or sport) is about the only guaranteed answer for this because of the no drone stipulation.

Magnaflow is a good system, but some guys have reported drone at certain RPM's. The Magnaflow systems that I've heard are pretty quiet at idle but sound tough when you get on it..

Well, they're quiet, but mine has held up for over 9 years through New Jersey snow and salt winters. Once I installed the StainlessWorks LT's and removed the tailpipes it actually sounded pretty cool...not sure how well they flow though as I've never seen any numbers. With that being said, I will eventually be removing my Gibson for some dual Magnaflow 4" round 14" long muffs.

*EDIT* I also wouln't recommend Gibson since there are better proven systems such as Corsa, Magnaflow, Borla, etc.

Exactly what I have. Listen to what people say. Gibson is about as quite as stock. Nice kit fits great sounds...... Well there is not much
