Gmpartsdirect has a GMPP branded system listed for 419.00 that is all stainless. I believe it's made by Borla for GM. GM PART # 17800765

I modded my stock muffler, the pipes GM put on the VMax are pretty stout.
I'm kind of in the same boat right now. I have an 05 Sierra Denali CC/SB AWD and would rather pay for a custom exhaust before buying a Corsa.

I have been talking with a sales rep with Magnaflow and he sent me a diagram of the catback kit#15838 for the Chevy SS.

The only problem with my truck may lay with the transmission crossmember. I also attached a picture that I got from Borla's website and it does not show the added crossmember that I have.

With yours being 2wd your crossmember setup may be different?

Why are you gonna get a Cat back? Might as well get long tubes and run duals or a ORY Pipe its gonna happen down the road anyway, and if you think it wont this site has a reputation of changing peoples minds real quick.

Unfortunately it is not true for all exhaust systems. I ended up giving my Borla to my dad when I traded in my ECSB and bought my CCSB. They have alot of similarities but the ECSB has a carrier bearing crossmember and the crewcab does not but it has another crossmember that prevented me from using my Borla system. I think my Magnaflow fits both but if I could have kept the Borla system I think I would have been much happier.
