Talking need all advice good and bad--heads.

well i was thinking about going to nitrous. the more i talk to people and express longevity issues they keep referring me to getting heads. so which ones have you had experience with. good and bad. which yield most results for a 1500.00 and below price. i hear AFR has some good ones as well. please let me know all tid bits and good info. also i am getting SLP 1.85 rockers.also what do you think about raising my compression to 10.5. i am staying N/A.

Absolute Speed & TEA are supposed to be some of the best heads. I think both places have like a stage 1 1/2 for under $1500. Remember, you could always spray after you get the heads for very large gains...heads+compression+nitrous=

Oh yeah, since your doing the SLP roller rockers and milling, you might want to use 7.35" pushrods. Personally, I would get the milling & Comp Cams 1.75 rockers, and still use the stock pushrods...just my .02

Good Luck and keep us updated!

TEA does some really good looking heads, skip the rocker arms and install a cam, you'll be happier with the results.

have you looked into finding a used set of 5.3 heads and having a reputable shop work them for you? just as a look see i would check into that then compare prices to the TEA and such. you might get what you want and have money for nitrous or cam.

You might also consider the Patriot 5.3l heads. They have chambers setup for keeping good compression on trucks, and with their most recent updates they flow awesome! What camshaft are you running currently? I'm needing someone to test my new truck heads & cam package
