Default Need head advise

I have a little problem. The valve retainers on my passenger side head are shot. Stealership wants 1300.00 to fix. I can get heads and do the work cheaper myself. My question is this; what heads. I have an 05 with an L33 motor so I have the 799's already. Would I gain anything from finding some heads off a Z06(lighter valves and stiffer springs), some LS2 heads($320.00 brand new complete) or just see if I can find some more 799's? I've done searches, and checked around for what is out there to buy. The LS2's are the easiest to find, being they are new and in the parts catalog. I'd like to find a complete set of Z06 heads and cam and do the whole swap, but don't know how an X-cab Z71 would react down low to that cam. I tow with, and daily drive this thing. What's everybody's opinion?

799 heads good they flow just like the 243. my advise just get your heads fixed if you have the 799 heads. just find some stock springs and retainers that if your staying stock if you go with a cam you just need to find the right springs and pushrods.

I thought about that too. If I go that route, I thought about a cam swap and new springs. The truck has a stock converter and 3.42 gears(for now). I will be going to 4.10(or 4.56's) next year. What would be a good cost efficient cam for this kind of swap? Custom grind?
