Need Help ASAP with Tahoe 5.3

They said The 5 year or 100k mile waranty is for the engine, tranny, and rear end. the Bumper to Bumper waranty is only 3 years or 36k miles. RIght now I have about 44k miles on the truck, so I guess I am screwed.

Latest update. lol
They are saying that the aftermarket radio caused a short circuit and caused the module to burn out. lol
After I told them I bought the tahoe brand new and it came with that aftermarket radio from the factory, they said it might be the amp wiring. WTF!!!
anyways I have to pay the total amount, and maybe..... just maybe if it was not my fault they will give me back my money.

You could go to an audio shop and get a statement from them showing the stereo and amp are both properly installed and could not cause the problem. lol.
If one tried to tell me that I'd call them out and demand they SHOW me how it could have caused the problem.
Edit: The website does confirm the 3yr /36k mi bumper to bumper so they aren't joshin ya on that. But a good dealer would offer to replace a BCM.

The only way for the amp to harm anything else is if it were tapped into the circuit, most amps if properly installed will get the power directly from the battery and the audio from rca cable, the remote is usually hooked into the power antenna on non-aftermarket radios but since yours is aftermarket it should have a dedicated remote.
