hi guys!!!


i have little problem. whenever i go WOT my check engine flashes about 10-15sec. well i have WCCH stage 2 heads, ls6 cams, and westers tune, and all the other etc like exhaust fileter and stuff.


today i had to drive about 40mins on highway. and i took wot and all of sudden my check engine light flashed for short period of time and didn't flash?
and i wondering what could cause that problem.

can't help, but you're running several ls6 cams and an exhaust filter?!?!?! How much did that setup run you?

 

I'd like to know as well. How much did you gain?

 

before tranny i was running around 14sec. but after my lv5 tranny with 2400stall for vigilante i'm running 13s now.

 

Flashing CEL means misfire. Check your plugs and wires. Also possibly a bad injector, or a problem with the tune. Who did your tune?

 

my tune is from westers. i had tune over 3yrs and i never had problem with tune. i will check my spark plugs. and wire.

but i notice that when i spot on traffic light, my engine feels like it spits out. and my rpm goes un and down little bit like up to 700rpm and low as 400 rpm

with is not normal my stay about 550rpm

 

well i took out all spark plug wires to see. and i found 3 wires at top where part it goes go coilpak turn to blue from copper. 3wire were bad. i change em with stock ones i had i had 8.5mm wire but guess those wires failed me lol

i's been awhile since i took it to WOT to test if the car still have CEL flash or not. good news it does not miss fire n e more. and i have took it too all the way upto 6100rpm to see if it fails me and no problem after changing wires.

did you have your heads worked or did you buy some different ones? I too have an 03 denali and have been looking at heads

 

yea i do have head worked

 

i have 317stock heads with stage2 rebuild ported polised and valve work and all goodie goodie stuff with zo6 cam which im going to change to comp cam with higher lifts.
