Default Need help finding Magnaflow

I need some help finding a Magnaflow muffler. I am looking for part #11386. Jeg's tells me it is a wrong number even though it is on the Magnaflow web site. Summit doesn't even have Magnaflows. Do any of the sponsors have these or any other performance sites I am missing? I also need some 2.5 inch header extensions. The 11386 is dual in dual out 2.5 with built in X and 14 inch case. If I can't find it, how much quieter or restrictive would the 18 inch case be since Jegs has that one? I need this muffler ASAP or I might get another ticket. Thanks.

We carry the Magnaflow systems. I can check on the muffler for you in the morning.

Thanks man it is a weld on muffler only and it's pretty new. Jegs said it wasn't on their price sheets so it might not even be out yet. Thanks for looking. Just post here if you find anything.

The muffler would have to be special ordered so it wouldn't be available for about 2-3 week. This one is $64.99.

Hey CashDude! I looked on www.bigexhaust.com and they don't list it either but maybe they can special order it for you.

Hey Tbyrne the Magnaflow web site says they will overnight any muffler not in stock to their dealers. Have you heard anything about this?

Hmm let me check the shelf at work tommorrow ...
The muffler your talking about is not a normal stocker for most WDs.

I do have a custom Magnaflow on my truck (fabricated in house by me) and I do have sound bytes but they are at work .. drop me a line at rwaitas@magnaflow.com and I'll sned you a sound file.

ewww Borla ...

Cash:

You're probably better off with the 12468 which is a 5x8x18 oval muffler with the perforated internal x rather than the 11386 which is a 4x9x14 with the same perforated internal x. The 4x9x14 will be loud and too raspy especially if you have aftermarket headers and or "modified" or deleted cats (for off-road use of course.) The 11386 is more suited for use with vehicles with resonators and or additional mufflers especially over 300 ci.

Both those mufflers are aluminized steel but we doo offer the 5x8x18 in polished stainless too (14468)

Hope that helps ....

BTW I'll try to get those sound clips out soon.
