I know you probably already torqued them by now, but...
18lbs first pass, rotate engine by hand (ratchet on the crank bolt) a couple of turns, then 22lbs, rotate engine a couple of times again, retorque all to 22lbs again. It is kind of something that is critical If they don't go to 22lbs the valves will stick open. They may go to 22lbs the first pass, but after you rotate the engine it seems some are always loosed up from the lifter collapsing some.

Definatley do that, I left that out, I just figured it was assumed with it having hydraulic lifters and all. But you ARE correct Ryan, the lifters do collapse a little or something. Same thing happens on my Camaro, except the poly locks are easier to deal with.

Thunder, are you changing the springs to help vavle control or is this related to your lifter issues?

i wasnt comfortable with the open, and close seat pressure that the 915's where at.
30lbs less than the 918's
I have run into another problem now.
the truck feels like it is miss firing. got a bad miss in it. got tired of messing with it toninght and will look at it this weekend.
any body got any ideas????
oh and does anybody have 2 MSD wires laying around???
I ruined 2 of mine, and had to put the stockers back on
I think MY plugs may be going bad, unless it is something else I did.

Make sure the coils are plugged in good. I would also check the injector plugs for grins. If those check out, double check you're plug wires.

If you got headers, you can start it up on a cold staret, let it run for a few seconds, shut it off and feel the tubes to see which ones are hot and not. That will tell you where the miss is. Then you can look at the plugs or focus more on the rest of everything for that cylinder.
