my engine is getting close to being done it is 405 ci and 10.5:1. i have 243 heads stock int. long tube headers. tb is ported along with maf. have k&n cai. thinking about the lunati voodoo cam 212in 218 exh .531 lift. what do you think and what kind of power do you think i will get.

That is a tiny cam for a big in. 405. We have a more than a few members with 400+cu" engines, I'm sure they'll chime in shortly.

yea but dont want to mess with trans or converter yet and i want more low end power and i dont want to spin it over 6000 rpm

el60 trans, what cam are you running and does it required a stall converter

This is the cam I run on a 5.3L it is too small for your application. BTW 10.5:1 CR is do-able for FI but most like it down around 9-9.5:1
Cam Number Duration @ .050 Valve Lift Rocker Arm Centerline
LS1-GT2-3 207 / 220 .571" / .578" 1.7 ratio 118.5

I doub't even a fully built 4l60e is ever going to hold up to a built 400+cu" engine. You aren't going to get too far with it. You really need to look at the big picture and decide on what direction you want to take it or you will end up throwing $ out the window.
