Do you really get that much outta the headers for what you pay for them?

Wow just went and looked at them. How come they are like quite a bit cheaper than the price of Gibson, etc. You guys swear by these huh? Which model would you recommend for 06 silverado, 5.3L ext cab, with corsa sport exhaust and K&N Intakes, and very soon to be Nelson Tuned!

Don't need the mail order Tune, get a custom tune. Costs about the same $ and the guy will drive ur truck and tune it. Every truck is different, and if u get into serious mods (SC, headers, cams...etc) ur gonna need someone who knows what they're doing as it can't be done via mail order properly. Trust me I did the Nelson first, and Alan's a great guy, but I did the custom tune later by necessity.
As for Air box...they make very little difference which one u get. They all make big claims, but get the one that costs the least. real bolt on power adders are headers, throttle body, tune, cams, Radix...etc. try a shift kit and servos too and improve the shifting.
Careful...small HP increases crave bigger HP increases...check out GM high-tech performance mag and on line. R/
