Yeah Ive heard that those STS are great for towing plus when your not well you know the rest!

Under towing load? Yes, without question with that heavy a trailer and a OD that works too!. I would not go 4.88 though unless you are running oversized tires (larger than 31's) too.

Yea you'll love it for puling. Pulls my 8500# camper like a little utility trailer. Plus better gas mileage. It's well worth the money.
