Can I ask why you need new ones?
I plan on getting a STS and was going to replaces the cats first, but everyone I talk too say the stock ones are fine. Even in a truck with 80000??

i'm running slp's mustang 2.5 inch cats. they're on the slp site, it says they're specifically designed for slp's mustang xpipe, but it's 2.5 inch slip fit.. exactly the same size as the stock y pipe, i just but butt-welded it together. i noticed an increase in power, as well as exhaust tone. 200 dollars for both, i got mine on ebay for 117, in either case, i see it worth the money.

well when i redid my exhaust the 2nd time, due to rattling in the pipes. It was a chunk of honeycomb material from the pass cat. thats why i need new ones. by the way, the slp's are nice, but kinda pricey. maybe i can find a deal somewhere....

BigTex knows of some nice ones to get. I can't remember the exact name brand. VERY high flow, the highest flow cats available actually.

Here are two pictures of the random tech metal matrix cats. There is another brand I can't remember that is cheaper. It has the same inside just the casing is slightly different. RT also makes a 2.5" version of this cat. Part number should be 703000 for the 3" and 702500 for the 2.5".

These are the highest flowing 3" cats on the market. period.
