Those look like the same cats I saw at Top Flight Corvette last week. I believe the guy there says he gets them OEM from the same place that supplies Random (could be wrong, don't quote me on that).

Dynatech Powercats.

Dynatech has just released PowerCAT, a series of premium hi-flow metallic substrate catalytic converters. The metallic core enhances quicker light-Off due to higher thermal conductivity. All T-304 stainless steel housing is small and compact for space and weight savings. Higher flow rates (as much as 54%) when compared to stock and most aftermarket converters. PowerCATS’s are universal design and have a non directional core and available in popular 2-1.4, 2-1/2, and 3-inch pipe sizes. PowerCAT designed for racing and off-road applications and are OBD-I & II compatible.

Roughly $149 each online.

Are those good enough to keep the SES light off or are they just to pass the visual inspections?

HP & Torque: 8-10 HP/ 12 ft lbs Torque

Installation: Universal Converters will replace the existing catalytic converter, but requires some cutting, welding, and/or fabrication. It is best to have someone with experience in exhaust work install these types of converters. Emissions certificates are included (In case your installer asks for it.)

i believe those are magnaflow mocks. i could be wrong. 70 bucks a pop is decent. but are they worth buying. I don't want to have to deal with converter probs later on. I will be doing the welding and installing the rest of the exhaust as well.
