Default Need oil pump o-ring part #

Im making sure I have all my stuff to get my cam in. I did not think to order a frikkin o-ring for my new oil pump with the rest of my parts. Where I am using an LS6 oil pump is there a different o-ring to use? I cant find the part number for the correct o-ring. Anybody have it??

Your local Chevy should have all in stock.
You'll need valve cover gaskets....front cover gasket......front crank pulley seal......and you'll also need the oil pick-up tube o-ring if you are planning on changing the timing chain and/or oil pump.

You don't need valve cover gaskets. The valve covers have embedded gaskets.

That's odd, mine were not embedded? I put new gaskets when I changed them. Just did the cam swap last weekend.

Ok, so since I got the LS6 pump I need the o-ring for the LS6 and not the 5.3 correct?

BmButler,

I have all my parts except for the pump o-ring. I didnt get valve cover gaskets because they can be reused a limited number of times.
