Need opinion on cam and headers.
2007 GMC Sierra 5.3 H.O with 243 heads flowmaster super 40 catback duals
I have a new set of edelbrock shorty headers, Stock LS6 cam and all the other goodies, pushrods springs. how much would these 2 help me. Also with a performance tune. I wanna leave the factory y pipe. Just looking for a couple extra horses.
Also gonna be installing a Cold air at the same time.

I don't think the shorty headers are gonna help that much 5-10 HP maybe. The LS6 cam should be a nice improvement, a good 10-15HP for sure. Just a heads up, I read that the 07 5.3 had a different cam gear w/ one big bolt in the center. You may want to search for that thread on here, but I'm pretty sure your gonna need the old style cam gear and bolts.
