Smile Need Opinions to make a decision on Motors...

Hi All..

I need some advice and if any of you have a 1990-98 chevy truck could guide me more.

I need to know which is better the 350tbi chevy motor or vortec 350.

I want to do upgrades to either one, but which one would be better with the upgrades and cost the cheapest, but get the most horsepower & Torque.

Any info is much helpful, because I need a truck soon. Thanks to All

x2. the power potential of the ls easily outweighs any older 350 motor. the swap is well worth it. you will be glad you did.

The TBI 350 stuff is pretty hard to mod and get all the power out of it.
the vortec 350 is a lil easier to work with but still has its limitations.

LSx swap is well worth it in the end. we have done a couple and my buddys 98 rc went a 11.3@119 with a stock 5.3 and baby cam with boost.
