Need a rear O2 simulator
I'm looking for a rear O2 simulator for my truck or any suggestions on what to do about it. I'm tired of my truck idling like total ****. Excuse me, it doesn't want to idle at all. So I'm about to put new front O2 Sensors in and try to do something with the rear.

I'm assuming your idle issue is because of your cam? If so, an 02 sim isn't going to help you there. Purchase EFILive or HP tuners, or take it to your local tuner if you dno't feel like tuning it yourself.

It already has a custom tune. I just didn't have long tube's when I had it tuned. So after I put the long tube's on I didn't put the front O2's back in. So here recently it's been running extra rich and doesn't even want to idle. I went and bought 2 Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor's today.

yea, without front O2s your truck will run like ****. the computer has absolutely no idea what the AFR is ans therefore has no clue how much fuel to inject or not inject, actually im surprised it runs period.
the rear O2s arent a big deal, all they do is tell the pcm if your cats are functioning properly and if they arent( or if there arent any at all) all it does is set off a SES light, and a O2 sim just shows that the cats are working all the time so there is no SES light. although if you are tuned, just get him to turn off the rear O2s in the tune and your good to go.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately my freeze plugs are somewhat stuck in the header's. I'm just gonna take it to my exhasut guy and have him do it because if those things are cross threaded or seized in there they'll replace the headers etc at no charge. I tried for hours today with a torch, WD-40 and 2 200 pound men and couldn't get them to budge. I'm just gonna have him do it since he put them in after he welded the flanges on. I'm gonna put the new 02's in and reset the PCM and see how it goes.
