Need to recuperate some power from 35's
Ok everyone I have a 2001 1500hd so it's basically a 2500. I has a stock 6.0 with the 4l80e. I pull a 21 foot boat up a big mountain. To say the least I'm very diss appointed with the 6.0 with my stock tires. Well I'm planning to step up to 35" tires so I know performance is going to drop more. So I was thinking if I add a set of full length headers, electric fans and an ebay intake and full exhaust and a tune will it tow the way it is right now or maybe a little better? By the way I have factory 4.10 gears and already upgraded to a 140 alternator. Thanks everyone. And just as a tought I don't want a diesel

Thanks everyone for the advice. Well I guess I won't buy all that stuff. One more question if I do go with the radix magnuson charger will the ait be real high and make me lose lots f power while towing my boat? I know it has almost instant torque which will work awesome when towing. Or would I be better off going with the trick stage 2 turbo kit?

ok if your gonna go to 35" then you have very few choices if your already saying it doesnt have enough power with stock tires.. full rebuild as a stroker.. forced induction.. superchargers are good low end but while towing turbo is best way to go.. you can regear but then why change tire size unless you go off road alot.
best bet is 60lb injectors.. new fuel pressure regulator. walbro fuel pump. and 8lbs of boost
