lol w/e. I hope i will be satisfied with a 383 and not regret not building a 408.

I didn't mean to say that a 5.3 couldn't be bored to match a 5.7 bore. I meant that I doubted it to be possible because the amount of boring required especially considering that an LS1 can't withstand much boring at all.

yeh thanks for the input. like i said in the first post, this was my idea for the night but i think i would be happier with a 408. with the pricing and more cubes its kind of hard to justify doing a 383 that way. plus there are a ton of people running a 408 and it would be easier to troubleshoot and figure out the best parts with something more popular. the 408 has proven itself in these trucks.
