Default need some sug. on my LM7

I have to pull this one because of bad cam bearings and would like some suggestions on either buying a short block, rebuild mine. After that would like to pick a good tq.and hp cam some long tubes, heads? or..... like to still pull my car trailer as well as fast daily driver. its a 99 shortbed 4x4. this site is great and any help would be cool. thanks . what about swaping it for a 6.0?

the 6.0 swap would give you the power you want to drag a car trailer and still smoke the ricers at the street no problem it all depends on what transmission your truck has in it but if it had a gen III in it already there be noproblem i here that the 4l60e from 93 is still the same as the one that the 6.0 fits

GO 6.0, without a doubt. Mild cam and some head work and may be some new pistons with a little machining of the block should get you moving pretty well and last quite a while. Along with though a built trans and a stall converter that would make a great setup.
