i do believe ill just go stock......or actually, my exhaust is so customized/fabricated, it might be easier for me to buy some universal mufflers. where is a good place to buy these.

Are you going to run tail pipes, or just dumped? A couple of large dynomax super turbo muffers would probably be pretty quiet.

you could just add a pair of dynomax bullets in there to act as a resonator. your best bet for quiet and performance is to look around for a corsa touring.

My 22" magnaflow is very quiet, It comparible to a stock truck in normal driving and crusing but is louder at WOT.

I suggest either the Corsa touring or the big HD model flopro. I went from a magnaflow to a flowpro last week and the interior noise level is near stock. Its a bit louder outside, but I'm running headers, high flow cats and a full 3" dual exhaust. I'm pleased.

Don't just throw on some universal muffler. Spend the bucks to get the stock SS muffler put back on or buy somenes stock SS catback. The SS muffler sounds very good.

I replaced a flowmaster with a Dynomax heavy duty RV muffler, jegs part #289-17789 , and picked up performance and mileage while it was almost silent in the cab... the best quiet performance muffler i've ever seen....

I am debating the same thing... I want the performance of an aftermarket muffler but don't want it loud (maybe a little deeper / louder but very little). In fact, I just want to weld in the aftermarket muffler into the factory system.

No Magnaflow with the SS, or you will get brain damage from the resonance. I learned the hard way and used 2 different ones (the 18" & 22"). Listen to BigTex, go with the HD model Flo-Pro, just like I did.

Although I have loved my magnaflow setups, I have heard they have a problem with resonance on the 6.0 motors.
