My mileage increased on the first tank, and that is pressing the loud pedal down quite often. Predator shows about 26-28 deg timing and pretty lean compared to before, .890 or so, which is fine by me -

glad to hear it,

i see more power around 890. than over .900 so you're just about right. just based on other trucks and wide band readings when compared to a predator, you should be running about 12.9 which is perfect/safe. I like to run mine around 13.3:1, some say it's lean, but it works,

thanks,

allen

450mv means the 02 is reporting a lean condition, 940 means there is a rich condition.

The only accurate way to measure a/f ratio is with a wide band setup. However, if you use atap and your predator alot, along with a wide band, you can get a good idea on what the a/f is by reading the 02mv.

I dont know much about tuning, but seems to me that at my power level, (no power adders or risk of severe detonation) - leaner is better. I'm happy with it now, but if you think I could get a bit more power out of ~13.3 then I may have you upgrade me in the future. Again, I dont know much about how too much timing or 'leaness' can affect the motor if there is no detonation, but I'd pretty much like it maxed out - at least enough for a daily driver

Someday I'll probably want to make the trip over to san antonio and get it just perfect - even tho its very good if not perfect now.

mv is milivolt, the lower the number the leaner the reading.
for a/f ratio, the lower the number the richer.

thanks,

allen
