A lot of people use a nelson tune as either their first or only mod. If you have bolt ons he can tune for those and get even more power out of your truck. Dont waste your time or money on the programmers, because for about the same cost you get a full custom tune that can do much more than the handhelds and free lifetime upgrades if you get new mods.

You really need a Nelson Tune. If you are really gonna do some mods to your truck it is a very good investment and will pay for itself. Im just got my 6th pcm from Allen today! Thanks Allen!

i would try PCMforless.com personally. i know of a lot of people that have had great luck with him and his tunes...great customer service as well. i have had nothing but problems with my nelson tune whether that be the customer service or the over all tune itself. you couldn't pay me to get another nelson tune....

How much does it cost for the tune? And if you dont wanna do the 93 octane...consider gas prices...would 87 octane still give a fair amount of power? Aslo...since it wil interfear with the Factory warrenty, is there a way to go back to factory setting when and if you bring ur truck into the shop ot get soemthig fixed? and can you go back to the new settings you had after you get out.
