Default New 1/4 mile time

Went to Ennis last night. Saw several people I knew and had a good time.

Ran a best of: 13.74 @ 98.5 on a 2.01 60'

My runs were made in 4Hi and I was chirping all 4 tires off the line. I was very happy with a 13.7 and know I can shave a few more tenths off next time. I was still fully dressed - Had my tailgate, spare, and full size toolbox running my very heavy 4x4 tire / wheel combo. Also had my full exhaust on with cats. Plus the fact that it is mid August and the temps are going to hurt the times some. I autotapped my runs and saw my up to 6* KR and O2s @ .99, so I am very rich and leaving some power on the table.

This winter should be interesting.

I forget what your current set-up was ... I know you are running nitrous but what ever happened to boost?
As far as your tuning goes .990 is high but you are running an NX wet kit correct? What range do the O2's have N/A WOT?
Have you ever tried to run 2wd?

I found that Boost and Texas heat are a bad combo <img border="0" alt="[fight]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" />

With my normal tires, 2wd wont hack it. Even in auto 4wd, the rear tires spin hard and only allow a 2.5 60'. I didn't have the truck really prepped for running a good time. Besides all of the extra weight I was carrying, I haven't spent much time working on my tuning. I am going to swap injectors one more time (to the 00+ 24.6 pounders) then work out any tuning problems I have. I have some 26.4 camaro injectors running right now. When I hit the track in later this year, I'll have the tuning all worked out.

I'd love to shave off another .5, but I'll be looking to just get below 13.5

Damn good runs. I bet this winter if you go all out and see what it will run as light as it can be, you will get .5 or so better. Good Job. Hell I just want to see any 13 while I still have the 4.8 before I start the swap.

Good times. Did you ever get that torque converter installed?

I'm back on the juice. I was going no where with the whipple. It was better in the mid rpms, but I had ping at low rpms and no power up top with it. I have no tranny work done, but would like to find a mild converter to install. Same gears (3.73) and stock tire size.

Currently: LS6 cam, borla muffler w/ cats, 4" intake, NX nitrous kit, LS1 edit programming, and free mods
