Just look at oxidizr's setup, 5.3 with basic bolt on's, no internal engine mods, and a 3200 stall and a 140 shop of nitrous and he made 426 rwhp and 511 ft pounds of torque! And he runs 8.0 flat in the 1/8th and 12.3 in the 1/4. The number still dont add up for a 7.8 run? Oxidzr made somewhere around 290 rwhp with all his bolt ons. And I would have to say all motors respond fairly well to nitrous not just hemis.

I still call B.S. on the 7.8 run

Hey back in black, I live in Bonham with some family in Telephone. You get your truck from the Dodge house I'm guessing?

Toe,what size shot are you running on your hemi? So you are saying that with 100hp recomended jets that I should get 120-150hp?You have no clue what you are talking about.I am using 38f and 70n and still am 6hp shy of 150hp.The recomended NX 150hp jets of 38f 62n gave me just over 100hp and 105tq more. The Hemi runs very rich normaly, add in NX's lack of R&D on this motor and you will make MUCH LESS hp then what you are claiming. Why don't you add up my current jetting and tell me how much I SHOULD be making.

Just for comparison, I ran a 12.33 @ 111.23 in my previous truck, which was a 7.9 @ 89.9 mph in the 1/8 mile. Estimated power was about 450hp, tq maybe 500+

OK .. I think the general idea here is until further proven otherwise.

Prove us all wrong!
