Default New 402 is on it's way

I called up Scoggin Dickey yesterday and ordered up a new Iron 402 to get things off to a good start on my new H2 build up. Boy am I happy I called them!

Here's what I got...

Iron 6.0 block w/ std bore
Eagle 4.000 stroke crank
Crower 6.125 I beam rods w/ARP rod bolts
Diamond -14cc dish pistons
Diamond plasma moly file fit rings (set up for up to 150 shot or 8lbs of boost)
Clevite rod and main bearings
Durabond cam bearings

New truck oil pan
New LS6 oil pump
New windage tray
New oil pickup tube

Crated and shipped to my local freight station for less than $4200

I was especially impressed with the time that Kris took to explain everything and to help me identify the other parts I needed to replace my fragged pieces. That's customer service that can't be beat!

This is going to be a very good foundation for an impressive build up.

Thanks, Kris (at Scoggin Dickey)!

Wow, thats a great buy. Please hurry up and get it all built and installed. I'm really interested to see how much boost the Radix can feed a 402.

You know, that combo is going to make some HUGE torque!

Sounds like the Hummer is on the road to recovery,What pulley are you planning to use? With a 2.75" pulley my 403 makes 7lbs of boost. What heads and cam are you planning to run?

Sweet deal. I as well almost bought that short block. I asked about it taking 8lbs and a 100 shot and was told it would need the rings reworked or something, and be a little more $. Then I found my 6L.

The Hummer is gonna love that TQ!!

If I could get 7psi from my Radix on a 402, I'd be very tempted to do it. As it is, I'm only getting 8.5psi on my 6L with the 2.75" pulley. My N/A camshaft is part of that issue though.
