GTS SS

Went to SCD in the truck today.
My previous best was a 15.74 @ 90.19 mph 2.370 60' with less then a 1/4 tank of fuel, calm winds and a DA of +3600'.

Today there was a 12 mph headwind and I had 3/4 tank of fuel, DA was +1248'
The extra weight and the headwind hurt my potential ET but I still got a new best ET of 15.58 @ 90.08 mph 2.30 60'
My best mph run of the day was a 15.59 @ 90.38 mph 2.33 60'
I didn't bother to lower the psi in the rear tires to help it hook up better, so the 60's were iffy at best. lol I'm running Firestone Steeltex Radial A/T's 245/75R/16 @ 50 psi.

Raceweight today was a whopping 5830 lbs. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

The next time I decide to run the truck, I think I'll wait for some really cold air with no headwind and also remember to have minimal fuel in the tank and lower the psi in the rear tires to get a better 60', and also remove the tailgate instead of just lowering it, and hope to run in the 15.40's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Oh yeah, the truck is a 2002 Silverado 2500 X-cab 4x4 w/3.73's 6.0L A4
Mods are:
AS&M LT Headers, FMS Custom ORP, Flowmaster Muffler, Superchips Tuning, K&N FIPK, ASP Pulley, 180* T-stat, Accel Plug Wires, Ported TB, TB-By-pass, MAF Screen Mod, EGR Mod

Oh and reread my rules, I belive there is a clause in there that limits this said "Tow Truck" grudge race to N/A only!
