Thumbs up New best time!!

Went to the track today. Met back up with some of the guys. Met a few new people. TnTrk53(Jim) even drove down from Memphis to meet us and run. Had A great time as usual. I have to give a big thanks to Curt(blacksheep). He let me use his 18 inch Nitto drag radials.
I ran a 12.637 @108.715 mph with a 1.831 60 ft time.
I forgot to turn on the alky injection on that pass
I made 2 more passes later in the night, but the track was extremly cold and I did not heat the tires up enough to do any good.

Awesome time! What would you expect with the alky kit on and good traction?

I think it could pull a 12.5 or lower with the alky and good launch. But we'll have to wait for another day to see if it can.
Oh, I forgot to mention, the run was with absolutley NO weight reduction.
Tailgate, spare, sway bar and all still on the truck.

i had my new best as well, 14.89. which hardly belongs in randy's post but hey, i had a good time and can feel a little more is still left in the truck. but like ranwalk said, the track wasn't giving us any love as the night went on. had some breakage of other cars and the time it took to clean up let the track get cold and slippery. i'll be back soon. once again, nice to meet the new people and great to see the ones from last time.

Yea, you still have a few tenths left in her I believe. Thats good though cause that will give me a little more to work for once I get a tranny that works back in my truck. Then you are going down to the 5.3!
