New Cam In! (224/227)
Last night me and Tyler (dirt_track_racer_81) started working on getting my new cam (224/227 .576/.578 112lsa) in. Everything was going too smooth as I was finishing putting the valve covers back on when I asked Tyler how tight they ought to be. Right as I said that, the damn bolt broke off in the head! 
It was late so he went home and me and my dad got it out by welding a nut onto it. I got up this morning and had to go to one of two places in the state that had them in stock (luckily only 45 minutes away). I finished everything up this morning and I love the cam. I can tell I need to raise the shift points because it is still screaming when it shifts. As expected, it is hard to get it to idle just sitting there so I'm going to get the tune sent off this week.
I really appreciate Tyler's help on doing this even though he didn't like the way I sang "When You Say Nothing At All" by Allison Krause and he wouldn't even give me the chance to redeem myself with "How Do I" by Trisha Yearwood.

sounds good grady..he waws askin me how much to tightin the valve cover bolts and right as i was startin to say not very tight i here that valve cover bolt snap and i bust up laughin..
