new cam, need help. 4.8 2006 silverado

Pulling the pan isn't too bad then. You can take the two big bolts and steering shaft off the rack&pinion and let it just hang there to give you more room.

got it all installed and running. doesnt really have the lope i wanted, more mild than i thought, have a crazy exhaust leak. cracked the donut gasket on the passenger side manifold. getting it replaced tomorrow. seems to have a bit more power though.
