ok a guy i kno got a new 2010 regular cab 4x4 dodge 5.7! supposed to be a drop in K&N filter and no muffler straight exhaust out the back.. ok my truck with the diablo tune (with via internet custom tune), 6.2, drop in K&N and magnaflow muffler... now i ran at centerville 1000ft 11.75 at 89 not really getting rpms ups on lanch it was my first time... he ran at centerville 1000ft 11.61 at 89? so my question is anybody raced one of these? i raced a 4 door and bye bye no problem unknown mods tho.. me and the reular cab did a 35, 40 roll and if i put in in 2nd then i beat him by 2 lenghts roughly.. leave it in 3rd and hes at my bumper.. i really dont see a STOCK tune truck going that fast unless dodge is really trying to get that motor program going! it kinda seems like the 6.1 to stay that close bc i havnt had a truck beat me yet or be that close especially "stock" around where i live, can you get that motor in a regular cab? and especially being a 4x4.. he said the RT is faster than his truck but everywhere i research online a STOCK rt regular cab only runs a 14.4 in the quater and thats 2wd! so i really dont see how his "stock" truck has a projected 13.6 quater STOCK?

headers and dyno tune are coming bc if anybody gets close then i just make it faster until they start gettin closer again.. if i really get mad ill just have to go ahead and get the converter and cam setup a little sooner than i wanted and just have to really shut em up

The reg cab r/ts have claimed to be high 13s trucks. 13.8 IIRC. They run pretty dang good, even the four door ones. Run it from a dig and see, we would all love to see the videos. I think him being 4x4 it would be close, but I would give the win to him.

well also considering i think my truck is about 700lbs heavier but idk man im gona run him from a dig and see... I can see MAJOR $ leaving my pocket if he beats me! i wish i could find a dealer that would let me order a regular cab gmc 2wd with the 6.2, and that would just shut the book on any factory production truck no doubt! but ive been to several and they all said "UM HELL NO"! maybe ill get lucky and get someone to order me one one day!? lol

There quick but I think you should get him. I got my lq9 in my 93 rcsb z71 ,with a 3k stalled 4l80 an shift kit and a live tune I'm hoping to run 13s Only have the 3.42 gears but ima tear them up, an the tundras, then I got a tbss intake an 90mm tb waiting to install just in case I come across some modded 1s. Then I'm like u will b dropping cash to cam an put headers on it.
