I have modded only three items since my last dragstrip outing. My previous best e.t. bone stock was 15.213@87.89 with a 2.218 60'. The day when I ran it bone stock was a "perfect air day" with a DA of -1000ft. Today I ran 4 times at a different track that has been slower with all of my previous vehicles. I have put a Magnaflow cat back, Air Aid air intake, and took out the MAF screen. Don't yell at me about the screen...I won't even go there but it obviously didn't hurt me. My best e.t. today was a 15.037@91.20 with a 2.242 60'. My 60' was worse, my mph was 3.5mph up, and my e.t. was a couple tenths better. The air today was pretty good with a DA of 491ft. I was happy with this as the mph shows a good increase in hp and the e.t. was respectable. Now all I have to do is swap the Whipple from my Tahoe to this truck to really turn some heads. With my baseline near the 14 sec barrier I can hope that low 13's should be possible with this truck. A bone stock lightning ran in the lane beside me during one run and it ran a 14.02@98.53 2.12 60' which I think sucks. Gimme that supercharger and lets have a rematch.

hah i ran a best of 15.9 after like 7 tries , and you can see all the mods on my signature, my friends 00 ecsb ran 15.6 stocks , so either sumthins wrong or my truck is just horribly slow, or both, hahaha, anyways im gettin a new one, no more 4wd.

 

99 was the worst year for our trucks, worst tuning I believe, making them slower.
