That's awesome. But I too, like Bigtex, am impressed by something else. A guy puts down a 1000rwtq with a small block gas motor and another guy is impressed by the shutter speed of a camera!

Maybe BigTex should change his name to BigTech. j/k

Again, on those numbers, good luck at the track.

Congrats Jim! Please get some tires and put a cage in that thing. Do you even have a driveshaft hoop? If you plan on running at the track any, you're going to have to address the safety issues, especially if you plan to run 9's.

You were on a 2wd Dyno right?

tires would be nice, but there is no reason to be spinning the tires that fast. that truck will likely never cross the traps at 160mph so why spin them up there. after the turbo put some more gear in there and you might get a bit more use of third gear at the track.

any tire i go with will be shorter and i will eventualy pick up some speed so i think the gearing will be fine.

safety stuff is in the works along with some stronger driveline parts.

i had the tcase in 4wd , forgot to pull it out. the tcase, front shaft and front diff were all going 150mph. the one axle was not spining so the other axle(part of it anyways) was going 300mph. the front end has a disconect setup on one axle and it was disconected. stupid mistake and could have been ugly on the dyno.

those numbers were with a 100shot. boost only was around 640/800. from what i understand on a smaller motor the hp would likly go up some and the tq would probably come down. i have a lot of driveline losses.
