New exhaust for my 2000 6.0L 2500
I think my current dual setup has a leak in it, sounds different and is not as load anymore. Since it was done half *** at the local meinekee, it bangs, swings, and is very rusty, so I want to replace it. I was think about the corsa but I don't like the single muffler and the pipe routing. Since I have dual pipes on the inlet from the factory I want a dual in / dual out system. I like the Magnaflow but can't find the exact part number that would fit my 2000 6.0L 2500. I like the Magnaflow because it is stainless. I am also leaning towards a Pypes Exhaust which has an X pipe, dual mufflers but it is aluminized. Any suggests or opinions on the Magnaflow or Pypes? I want the exhaust to have some volume like my current setup did. I would also like to know if the Magnaflow single muffler that comes with the kit is has the internal X pipe. Thanks in advance.

Well I called and I am outta luck. Soon as I rattled off my specs the guy from Magnaflow said they don't make a dual system for my truck. He said some places have retrofit other Magnflow kits. He said that the chassis' all differ and it makes it hard for them. I asked him about the 2003-2004 HD CC dual package and he said I would have cut it and relocate the hangers and such and also that it wasn't available till Sept. Anyway, I think it won't work for me. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Don't know if you want noise or don't want noise. I just got rid of a magnaflow off of my 6.0 Yukon Denali XL as it was too loud for my wife. Put on a Flo-Pro 2500 HD Big Oval Muffler and the interior sound is nearly the same as stock. Also claimed to be a 25 HP gain. Not as cheap as the Magnaflow though. If interested, here is the link www.flopro.com
And of course, if you like noise, don't bother .
