I had good success with the aluminum gaskets as well until I installed a Radix. I had plenty of leaking 3-bolt gaskets until I found the aluminum ones. They held up for fine for N/A and occasional spray. But shortly after installing the Radix (and running it hard), I developed another gasket leak. When I pulled it apart, I think I found the melting point of aluminum :

Dear lord, that is one messed up gasket... I am hoping these V-bands work out, I have only driven the truck to the store and back, it is running pig rich, due to the previous headers leaking and throwing off my Wideband...

Hey so how are those V-clamps working for ya? I have a leak started where it bolts up to my headers and I need a place to disconnect the back half of my exhaust. So when you going to make a few of those Y pipes to sell? I will be first in line. lol

the V-bands are working out really good. It makes droping the Y-pipe so much easier... I only drove with the new setup long enough to roughly tune the truck, then I took the headers off to get them recoated...
