Thanks guys! I actually opened up the camcorder today to check it out...it takes 4 AAA batteries, so I don't have to charge it, which is good. Now I just have to figure out how to use it and I'll try to get some vids of the complete exhaust at least, before I get the DMH E-cutout.

I gotta say again, that I love how my truck sounds now, this is absolutely the best it has sounded since I've had it. I think it will fit your criteria Tim, I'll do my best to get a vid up for you asap.

 

Hmmm, I haven't noticed that with mine yet, and I did take a cruise down the highway right in that range...maybe since it sounds so much better than my old setup it doesn't bother me

 

as long as your happy billy, i changed from a flowmaster 40 to a mag cuz the drone and nothing changed but ill admit under WOT thing sounds nasty.

 

Yea I'm very happy with the way it sounds, especially at WOT like you said, that's where this muffler really shines IMO.

Did you have a full exhaust with a tail pipe(s)? I've noticed that running a tail pipe will make a difference

 

yes sir, im running LT& two 3 1/2 rolled tips out the back. just got my 08 out of teh body shop and if and when a dump it i might swap the stock setup back on and and put the GMPP setup on my 2002.

 

Sounds like a nice setup, I'd like to see some pics if you have any Maybe once I figure out the camcorder I'll take a cruise on the highway with the windows up. I'll see if I can get a good vid of what it sounds like in the cab and you can compare it to what yours sounds like, if the vid is worth a darn lol

I guess every truck / owner is different when it comes to exhaust sounds. Makes it damn hard for a person to try to pick a setup for their own rig.

I currently have a summit 3'' in / D.O. 3'' turbo muffler.
No Drone , sounds pretty good , but i want a bit throatier sound, hence im thinking Magnaflow / Dynomax for a straight thru flow and sound.


I'll have to listen to Billys before i make a decision, every magnaflow exhaust ive heard ive liked, but never heard them at cruise in the " Drone RPM Range" if ya know what i mean.

Not yet, I've been busy running errands this morning and I'm still not done yet. Not to mention that it's been raining/snowing/slushing all day long and I don't want to get drenched lol. I will get them soon though...I know that Tim, and the rest of you guys, are patiently waiting
