I do not know what NNBS trucks are, sorry.
So what I am reading on this forum is that the L33 has the better heads, Grafal flat top pistons, good rods, and possibly a better cam. If this is all true, then I am better to rebuild my engine than get another. So it looks like I will reuse my L33. I still need to decide on a mild cam. I will upgrade the springs at the same time. LS6 springs it sounds like. Before I open up this engine; does this engine have roller rockers? I was reading in the brochure and they say it does. Or do all these LS engines?
Do I still need to upgrade pushrods and to LS7 lifters for a nearly stock build?

I see the LS327 is a warmed over basic 5.3. Looks like a cam and piston change. Now if I take my L33 and put the LS327 cam in it I should be doing better than the LS327 #'s; correct? As I have the same pistons, a better set of heads and would then have the same cam....

NNBS = New New body style - 07+ trucks. a.k.a GMT900.
IMHO I'd go bigger than the LS327 cam. Even if it's just a little bit.
LS327 cam
196/201 - .467/.479
I'd look into something around 208/212 - 216/220. Those cams should give you next to no, if any low end loss, and great power throughout the RPM range.

I kinda like the TR214/220 or Scoggin Dickeys Z+221. Have any thoughts if I am on the correct track? These both seem to have some torque associated with them but won't kill my driveability everyday.

What about a Trick Flow Track Max LSX cam? Summit has one on sale that looks like this: 216/220 @.050" and .560/.560 lift Says 10.5:1 minimum compression though...
It is going for $300.
