New Here - Cam Question
#21
Once again guys, thanks for all of the advice. I've spent the past twenty minutes browsing the Internet and came across this kit, which is within a price range that I'm willing to spend. It says that it fits the 6.0 LS2 engine - will this bolt onto the truck motor?

In a word, no that kit won't work. It's set up with cathedral port heads as it's designed for the LS2 that had 243 casting cylinder heads. You have the rectangular port L92 heads and the intake has to match.
That said just cam the thing, add headers and an appropriate stall. The cylinder heads in stock form on your truck flow more air than 364 cubic inches has much use for to begin with..... and probably outflow the Trickflows listed in that kit.
If forced induction is truthfully not an option go with what has been recommended to you. Honestly if you really want power with that truck pick up some more cubic inches to make proper use of those heads that are on it. A 402 cammed appropriately would do much more for you than just a cammed L96.
