Default New idea to fix dual 3" Check it out

I have lts highflow cats true 3" duals through x pipe out cut out under the freaking passenger seat.

Man do I hate this set up way to loud in the cab.

I don't want to re do the entire exhaust. The x pipe is under the front passenger seat, so I have decided to y pipe the exhaust after the x pipe under the rear of the cab dual 3" single 3"

Plan getting 1 shorter 16" bassani muffler 2.5" inlet/outlet and putting the cutout right in front of the muffler. This way everything is under the bed and not the cab.

Do yall think this will bring back a lil bottom end?

I think the bassani muffler could be part of the issue aswell. Going shorter on the muffler is going to possibly make it louder, unless you are not running anything now.

Yes I have a 22" dual 3" inlet/outlet magnaflow that is way to quiet when dual cutouts are closed. The dual cut outs are way to loud under the cab. I like to be loud outside not inside haha

I am wanting a happy medium and some low end back. the truck is a lil sluggish till 2000rpms at half throttle

Unfortunately you will most likely want to change out some of the exhaust pipes you just put on. What about a muffler with a similar dual in dual out design that is shorter and has 2.5" internal pipes?

Run 2 bigger single mufflers, instead of 2x2(in-out) also 3.42 gear is not much gear to start with.

high flow cats, x pipe, cutouts, and muffler are all 3 inch

I didn't want to re buy 2.5" cats, x pipe, and cutouts.

X pipe starts about 3"s after the transmission, would yall run 2.5" from the x pipe to the dual or 2 single mufflers to gain more low end?

Would it be stupid to put a y pipe 1-2ft after the x pipe? that way I could re use one of my 3" cutouts and only by 1 muffler

Bassani mufflers are $115 a piece

new y pipe or x pipe runs around $40

Good news I refer a lot of people to my exhaust guy and have given him business to he said anything after the x pipe would be $60

you could keep the cut outs in place and just replace the muffler back with dual 2.5"

You can make it louder while gaining back some low end.

Also, if you were thinking about going to a Y then I would skip the X all together and just to straight for the Y. Sell the X and sell one of the cut outs.

I really want 4.10s settle for 3.73s but i love my 3.42s for highway driving.
The truck gets 24mpg highway with no wind at 70mph sits around 1700rpms

I do about 30-40% city driving the rest all highway

2 new mufflers, reducers down 2 2.5 after the cutouts or X what ever is last in your line. You basically have a exhaust that is capable of flowing a 800 horse system with a fraction of it. NA needs some back pressure for overall driving.
