From what most people say true dual 2.5" x pipe possibly makes a lil more power than y pipe 3-4inch?
I am more of a fan of single exhaust personally. I feel a proper y-merge (like the flowmaster merge collector) can make within a few horsepower of a dual setup and I think they sound better as well. A simple y pipe and catback setup with a cutout for your immature days willl suite you perfectly and be so simple.
