new lifters

I would consider it. I would for sure, do the oil pump and chain.

60K isan't a lot of milage, I wouldn't think you would need to change lifters.The only reasons to change the factory lifters would be on a engine rebuild or because of excessive valvespring pressure for a radical cam profile.

I'm running Comp Rs and CC Pro Mag 1.85 rockers and my engine screams like Dean did on the campaign trail. The R lifters require less preload than the stock lifters. Instead of adding a 1/4 turn you stop when the pushrod stops turning and lock down the polylock.
