new muffler pics, dynomax bullet hydbrid
I'm going from dual 2 1/2 inch bullets with no x pipe, no nothing, just true dual bullets to dual 2 1/2's and no cats of course, that Y into this single 4 inch bullet, which Y's back into my dual 2 1/2 inch tails. A 4 inch bullet is the same price as a 3 inch so I figured why not get a 4 inch and it worked out better anyway. The Y's came from my X pipe I took out a couple years ago. This is basically an X pipe with a big bullet in the middle. Took a lot of grinding to make everything fit with smooth transitions but I think it will work. Opinions?
And that gas can wasn't there when this was all welded.

Reminds me of the factory exhaust on my old 85 MonteSS...it was 2 pipes coming together and going into a 3" cat converter, which I gutted, and duals coming out...I had a Hooker dual catback for a Buick Grand National. The car ran really strong with the GM ZZ?350 crate engine I had in it, and it sounded awesome.

Think of it this way. Its a dual in dual out muffler on steroids. Its an x pipe and true duals combined into one piece. I don't understand all the hate I'm getting here.
I finally got it put on tonight and just cranked it up and snapped the throttle a few times. Its very smooth and mellow. I didn't get a chance to drive it because I had to go inside and watch Family Guy. I'll see about a sound clip maybe tomorrow, or by the weekend at least.
