With as much wiring that is involved can one really make a kit that doesn't look homegrown?

This kit will be a great low cost unit to put on a show truck ( no cooler hoses, or wires ) or for semi high boost w/meth and 100 oct might make some serious power. I know I have seen on the corvette forum guys are taking the I/C out of there magna Chargers and going with the ECS kit or the Alkycontrol kit and making some real good low 10 second runs with them. I would not run this kit in real hot climates or for any tow applications but for a cheap entry kit that is upgradable and has it place, why not!

Sooooo with little towing living in south Louisiana just for a mild daily driver would this be a good investment, or stick with the intercooled version?

I would say real light towing lika a Bike or a Jet ski , It gets pretty hot there and heat and towing means Intercooler for best results.

Remember, the Intercooled kit will still be available.
If this kit is offered without tune, will it still have a warranty?

I have a little bateau with a 25 I pull ocasionally. I just don't want to tear something up if I do need to tow something one day. Maybe its best if I just wait till I can afford an intercooled one.
