Talking new plans

I just thought i would let you guys know about my new plans. I am in the process of building a forged internal 348 ls1 aluminum block motor right now. I am building it to 8.5:1 compreesion with an ati at 12-15 psi. I am using the stock 6.0 heads and I have not decided on the cam yet. I also just puchase a t56 with billet input and output shaft with viper internals. I have the spec 4 clutch and pressure plate right now but i will probably sell it and get a spec 3i. Anyway i should have the project done around the end of august. It is all going in a 2001 silverado standard cab step-side truck. My buddy and I are also putting a ls1 cam only engine in his 89 s-10 with a t56. It is quite a job involving weld up headers and a little fabrication. Anyway I need a stock truck harness if anyone has one I can trade for a ls1 harness if someone would need it.

Someone has a stock 6.0 harness for sale in the truck classifieds.

Keep a good log of that T-56 conversion. That will be nice to see.

hey thanks for the info. For the conversion I am going to have to send off a stock truck harness to speartech to be modified for a t56. I really hate that i am going to have to use the truck intake but I don't really know how to make a ls1 to work with the ati brackets. otherwise i would just use the ls1 harness.
