Default New product - Meziere "street" electric water pump

Meziere has just released their new bolt-on electric water pump for the LS1/LS6 motors. This will also work on the 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 trucks but you will need electric fans. It is a direct replacement to the factory pump and will show you a 10-12hp gain. Colors available are black (most popular), neutral, red, blue, purple and polished. Our introductory price is $499.99. This should be going up to around $530. in the next few weeks.

Can you give us a few specs as to what kind of power this will draw? Some might need to beef up their alternator if they are running both.

Matt - I've heard of LT1 guys running these things for 5-6yrs on daily drivers. I believe the guts are the same on the LS1 model.

They should last a while.

I can check on the power draw tomorrow. As noted, these pumps usually last for years and it uses the stock tensioner. The kit doesn't come with a new belt.

I don't know if this applies, since the designs are probably a bit different, but some Lightning guys have had less than happy experiences with this companies pump. Sounds like the manufacturer is standing behind them and replacing them, but it is not fun having one break down on ya.

Could this work combined with a radix kit? Just the belt would need to changed right?? How about the tensioners and idlers on the radix frame?

Do they have a part number for a new belt??? or do they just leave it up to the buyer?? also is this the whole unit or does it drop into the water pump housing?? Isnt the one for the LT1 a drop in one or something?
