New Radix install questions
Installed a new Radix today and I have a couple of questions. I have a 2002 Chevy 2500HD 6.0. HPTuner that I really dont know how to use yet.
1) I didnt get the EGR adaptor with the kit (might have something to do with my problem?
2) My check engine light is on.
3) Truck hesitates BAD in the middle of the power band.
4) Have this on HPtuner:
P0102 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit Low Frequency (Pending) (OLD) (Current) (Immature)
Continuous Tests:
Misfire - Incomplete
Fuel System - Complete
Comprehensive Component - Complete
Once Per Trip Tests:
Catalyst - n/a
Heated Catalyst - n/a
Evaporative System - n/a
Secondary Air System - n/a
A/C System Refrigerant - n/a
Oxygen Sensor - Incomplete
Oxygen Sensor Heater - n/a
EGR System - n/a
Thanks for any advice..

The only problem you have really is the SES light, the non complete tests are not a problem. They will complete as some miles get on the truck.
Make sure the MAF is plugged up and that you didn't snip the wrong wires or any additional wires when you hooked up the new IAT sensor. You should have only cut the brown and black wires I believe.

I believe I did Tan and Black per instructions. Also my instructions are for 2003 &up. ( I didnt recieve the EGR adaptor or the bracket for the throttle cable) . Could the new MAF be different also?

Your 03 doesn't have EGR, and unless your in Cali, you don't have AIR. Check the plug and the wires on the MAF.
I've heard you can reset the PCM by leaving the battery unhooked for 30 minutes or so. You might can just use your Superships to put the factory program back on, cycle the ignition, and then put the Magna tune back in.

02 still doesn't have the EGR or AIR. You would have been short some wires to extend the IAC and the TPS sensor wores, but if you got those worked out, then you should be set.

I was short wires. I made up my own ... If that 1" copper flexible tube that comes from the exhaust manifold through a selinoid and into the stock manfold isnt EGR than what is it? I looked at a 02 installation manual online and it shows it in that. ??
Thanks for the help
