New Radix install questions
#12
This might sound dumb, but are the new IAT harness wires connected to the wires going to the computer, or the wires coming from the original IAT plug? They should be going to the computer and the original IAT wires you cut should be hanging off the stock plug/not connected to anything. This has been known to happen when people get the instructions mixed up and connect the wires from the original plug to the new harness.....hence the computer not seeing any IAT readings.

I'm not sure what you were saying, but it sounds like you're just supposed to hook the wires up to nothing. The wires only lengthen the existing wires. You need about 6 more inches and 2 butt connectors for each wire. WHat you do is cut the whole wiring harness off about 3 inches from the plug and put the new wires on. Then you hook the new wires up to the other side of the wires you just cut.

I disconnected the battery and got rid of the MAF code . I still need to fix the EGR though. Also I am getting a ticking noise (kinda like a misadjusted rocker) anytime I am not on the throttle. As soon as I put in any throttle it stops.
