What size stickies are you runing? I wouldnt doubt your pulling a tire with those 60's. I just hope one day i can pull off one of those 60's.

I tried 2 different sizes the other day at the track, first was a 26-11.5-16 ET street on stock wheels, they went 1.71 sixty foots but i ran out of gear before the end of the quarter and had to let off the throttle. Then i tried a 28-10.5-15 ET drag on some 15x10 wheels and it went 1.65, whats bad is the ET drag's didnt have the wear indicators on them anymore and they hooked better than the new ET streets, from what i understand the 28" slick has more sidewall than the 26" allowing it to give more. I would also say if you dont have Caltracs get them they helped me alot

I would love to get caltracks, but i cant see $300 for something that simple. I think for slicks i want to get 28-12.50-16's and see how they do. I just hope they will grip. I'm just really afraid they wont hold with the power and stalling to almost 4k rpms. If it does hook i should run 12's N/A easily. I wish i could just get some ladder bars like for a 4x4 on it. Thats like having 2 torque arms. LOL

Congrats on the new times Jeremy... questions though...
I saw you tried some 28" tall tires and you got a better 60' out of them but what did they do for your et/mph down the rest of the track? I am going to have to step up to a bigger tire because the 26x11.50 ET Streets aren't working for me anymore on the juice. I have been to three different tracks, one being know for hooking very well and was hooking good for everyone else that day, and haven't been able to get under a 1.7 60' where I used to be able to pull mid 1.6's before the h/c on the spray. So I am thinking of going with the same tire SnakeEater suggested, 28x12.50x16 ET Streets.

I ran the same et and mph, but i had to lower the air pressure to 10lbs to get them to hook because they were so worn out, at that low of air pressure they want to walk or dance from side to side going down the track not a fun ride. I dont think you will lose anything on the other end by going with a taller tire.
