Figure Randy hit a 12.4 w/ bolt ons-cam only. -Comp 216/220

With a well tailored head/cam package & a 4 link I could see some 11 second runs with his setup.

.....maybe

Hey Guys I ran agains la chicken when he did the 12.8 and I did a 13.5@101 he beat me by two trucks length. I will be doing the 4L80E swap soon with a 3000 stall and see what happens. My truck besides the 6.0 is stock still need a posi. I think I spin a little even with the slicks, will be keeping the 3.42 since a turbo is not that far away.
There a lot of fast trucks on this track hope it gets better and better. Laterz

I belive the fast trucks here in this forums are just a small sample of all the fast trucks. One of my friends who makes frequent trips to Laredo, TX told me there were a couple of 99+ trucks in the 10's. Laredo is not too far away from Edinburg. Maybe one day I will make my way to that track with my video cam and see for my self if it's true.
I remember about 2 years ago when i made my second trip to a Race Track there was this Maroon 99 chevy with ls1 engine hittin 10:70's it was owned by some guy from H-Town..... he also mentioned about 2 more trucks same year but one as Black and the other one Red. When the truck launched it looked like it was going to pop the wheels BTW nice times man

the stalll is the TCI street fighter, dont remember part number, i got in on a special one of the vendors had, it was a great price, 42x or 43x, i dont even remember anymore. at first i didnt like driving it around all that much but now i'm really use to it, ( took a long while though)

thats wierd, my 1st cousin lives over there and he's never told me of those 10 secs trucks. gonna have to call and ask him.. i do remember my friend being about .5tenths slower there than edinburg both on cold nights..

i would like to use a set of 255/50/16 mt et radials, i'd imagine with that and a weight reduction i could have .2 or.3 more off the 1/4 mile. should hit the dyno next week to see how my a/f is.

are you saying i'd get better times with leaving @ idle? i dont see how
